Partition Planning Tips

  • • System partition (C:) — Reserve at least 120 GB for Windows 11 to run comfortably.
  • • NTFS is the best file system for all Windows partitions larger than 4 GB.
  • • FAT32 has a 4 GB max file size limit — use exFAT for USB/external drives instead.
  • • Leave 10–15% unallocated on each partition for best SSD performance.
